Hotel Mundial

Breakfast was great—eggs, fruit, cereal, veggies, etc. There was a nice outside eating area. Location was great—right in the historical center, within walking distance to major sites.

Great central location close to Rossio square and all the main tourist attractions in walking distance. Nice rooms with everything you need for your stay. We had a great view over Martim Moniz Square with the Tram line directly across the street. Staff extremely helpful and polite. Rooms serviced daily with fresh towels. Mini bar in the room with reasonably priced items. Roof top bar and views over the city were amazing. Room available to store your luggage on day of departure if you have a late flight.

From check-in to check-out everything was great. The location is right next to all the main streets and a 10 minute walk from the boardwalk. The breakfast was rich and tasty and the room has a very nice balcony overlooking the castle. It was extremely helpful that the hotel has its own parking available to us.

Perfect location for city break. Very central. Metro and trams right outside and tour buses nearby. Walking distance (maybe 10-12 mins) to Castle and Commercial Square and plenty or restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff. 2 x free drinks in bar included. When returned to room on first day, 2 local pastries and a small bottle of port on table, free. A very nice touch. Fridge in room and good air con. Nice view over square and big, comfy, double bed. Buffet breakfast is substantial with an extensive choice. Rooftop Bar is fab, with a DJ and views over city and castle. Really nice relaxed vibe. We arrived there early (about 6.30pm, music starts at 6) to beat the rush as we had heard it can get busy. Even got a call from reception to ask us how the stay was going. Highly recommend. Only thing missing was a pool, then it would be perfect!

The hotel is in an excellent location. Close to Metro, Yellow bus tour, the Trams, and tours we’re less then 5 minutes from Hotel. They have a small super market right next door. Many restaurants in area. On arrival the hotel staff were very helpful in letting us know How to take the elevator up to castle. Calling us to make sure everything was Okay. The breakfast was amazing. Two serving areas accommodated everyone in room. They sent us cheese platter and wine last day. We were so thankful as we had a long day in Sinatra. Thank you so much for taking Excellent care of us in Lisbon.
